CELL's role and mission :
Our socio-economic model is based on fossil fuels. The energy transition is therefore fundamental and requires us to rethink our energy consumption, both individually and collectively, from production to consumption. It involves firstly reducing energy consumption and then increasing the share of renewable energies to achieve energy consumption that respects planetary limits, and does not use finite and limited resources. Sobriety is the answer to reducing our consumption of energy and resources, without which we won't be able to meet the climate targets set by the IPCC.
Project description :
Several scales are targeted. The national scale with the CLEVER energy transition scenario of which CELL is an observer partner, along with LIST for Luxembourg. At municipal level, with contributions to the Climate Pact. And on an individual level, by promoting and raising awareness of energy-saving practices.
